Technical requirements for peering

All peering partners must meet the following criteria:

  • A valid, publicly routable Autonomous System Number (ASN)
  • Support for IPv4 and IPv6 – dual stack is mandatory
  • No MD5 support required
  • An up-to-date PeeringDB entry
  • Up-to-date RIR information
  • No history of abuse or policy violations
  • IRR route objects for all announced prefixes
  • RPKI ROAs for all announced prefixes (recommended)

How we handle peering sessions.

Open Peering

Settlement-free peering with any network that meets the technical requirements.

IXP & Tunnel

Peering currently only via Internet Exchange Points and tunnels – no direct cross connects.

RPKI validation

We perform RPKI origin validation and drop invalid routes.

BCP38 / uRPF

Enforcement of BCP38 and unicast reverse path forwarding against spoofing.
